- Consistent regular sanitizing of all surfaces.
- We request that you wash your hands upon arrival, before your massage or acupuncture treatment.
- There are three lobbies for Relax! so you can be more separate while you wait.
- We ask if you have any symptoms or have recently traveled to areas of infection to kindly stay home.
- We are diffusing specific essential oils into the air that have known antiviral and antibacterial properties.
- We treat all patients in private rooms, there is no community acupuncture at Infinity.
- We can avoid facial massage if you prefer, but therapists do sanitize their hands before they touch your face so it is your choice if you would like to have one.
- Facials themselves, due to the stringent sanitation guidelines for estheticians, are very safe.
Why, with all the craziness, should you get a massage or acupuncture treatment? Because both services are well known for boosting your immune system.
- Massage and acupuncture both boost immune by helping you get out of your sympathetic nervous system (fight or flight) and into your parasympathetic system (rest and digest). The parasympathetic system is where your body heals and processes the hormones that keep you healthy and happy.
- Our immune boosting acupuncture treatment activates the channels that are responsible for producing Wei Qi. Wei Qi in English terms simply means immune system. When you have strong Wei Qi, pathogens have a harder time making you sick and you can fight off sickness better.
- Unlike your blood, your lymph system does not have a pump to move it along. Massage helps circulate your lymph fluids which are responsible for making antibodies against foreign invasions of pathogens. A stronger and more robust lymph system keeps you healthier and able to fight disease.
