Exceptional acupuncture!...and offered at a good value.

After my first treatment with Patrick, I'm more relaxed & at ease than I've been in years. I feel real hope for my health & future because of the kind support from Infinity staff.

The space is truly Zen with each treatment room named from the 5 elements: water, earth, air, fire & wood. What a hidden gem.

This was my first experience with acupuncture but will certainly not be my last. I suffer from anxiety and have been grieving the loss of my father, so I was in need of stress relief and clarity. The process from start to finish was professional yet compassionate. There was no pain or discomfort associated with the treatment, in fact it was incredibly relaxing, creating a sense of true tranquility. I was able to sit comfortably and quiet my mind during the treatment and the benefits of anxiety relief have continued to last throughout the day. Looking forward to my next treatment! Thanks, Gretchen, for taking such great care of me!

The VA approved my back doctors request for Acupuncture and I have been seeing Amanda for several weeks now and I have seen a significant improvement in my pain levels. The chronic nature has abated and I feel that there is an overall health benefit also. The staff including Elias and Amanda are always so professional and friendly makes me look forward to my appointments. The facilities are clean, comfortable and very relaxing. Wonderful experience at Infinity Acupuncture with Ms. Jaime. She's such a wonderful person, compassionate and excellent to work with. I've now tried acupuncture Qua Sha and cupping to help with the pain I have since my injury in Iraq years ago. I've finding sleep is better and an overall improvement. I'm very thankful the VA has come to recognize how much these treatments help and I'm so grateful to Jaime.

In the last 35 or so years, I have visited 8 different acupuncturists all of which have provided me with pain relief. In my opinion, Gretchen is the best practitioner of this art that I have visited. She is dedicated to this form of healing and genuinely cares for each of her patients.

I first started seeing Gretchen in the spring of 2015 when I was suffering from 1) severe low back pain, 2) hand and wrist arthritic pain, and 3) bone and muscle pain in my neck and shoulders. The low back pain was chronic - something I have had for about 50 years; the wrist and neck pain appeared relatively recently; the shoulder pain from an old sports injury. My discomfort level was so high that it affected my ability to focus on words in any type of book that I was reading; I couldn't remember facts from one page to the next. After being treated by Gretchen I got immediate relief from much of the pain and with regular treatments, my discomfort is now significantly reduced.

Gretchen has also helped me with my short term and long term memory with a combination of acupuncture and nutritional advice. She has also used acupuncture to help me cope with the anxiety and depression that has accompanied my chronic pain as I have gotten older. Gretchen has also helped guide me in improving my ability to moderate pain through meditation.
Infinity Acupuncture has two other healers licensed to provide acupuncture: Jeff and Jamie. I have been treated by both of them and have had excellent results from their treatments.

Infinity Acupuncture has transformed my life from my very first treatment. When I was getting off the table I found that I was now able to turn my neck in both directions without pain. My comment to Gretchen was It's not a miracle it's Acupuncture. I have 3 lower discs that are severely damaged which caused me to be totally inactive. Now my pain is minimal and I can do more now than when I was 50 now I am 72 Thank you to Gretchen and Jamie's care I now lead a productive life Bob S

“Shoulder pain! That was my problem. I couldn’t lift at the gym anymore, I had trouble doing my job, and I couldn’t sleep without the pain waking me up. Gretchen did deep tissue massage on me and it helped, but it wasn’t until we started doing acupuncture that I got relief from the pain. The combination of cupping, moxabustion, massage and acupuncture has made the pain go away and I can now sleep again and go to the gym! Thanks Gretchen, I appreciate the help!”

“I suffered from chronic head and neck pain since 1995. I believe it started some time after an accident. For the first 10 years I would take Ibuprofen to manage the pain. Then it started to hurt more frequently and with greater intensity. I saw several doctors and specialists who told me it was just stress. Funny thing was when I would go on a vacation and relax it would hurt worse.

I gave up on the doctors for about another 5 years. When I tried them again they sent me for X-rays, an MRI, a CAT Scan, and other tests. They said nothing was wrong! But the pain was so awful I sometimes had to lie in bed all day.

I had known Gretchen for some time and she had given me some wonderful massages in the past. She told me she could do some acupuncture. I gave it a try and have had phenomenal results! I’m doing so much better today than a few months ago! Wow, I can’t believe how good I feel! Thanks for the help in healing. I no longer take any Ibuprofen and only get very mild aches from time to time. Acupuncture has given me so much of my life back.
Thank you so, so much! “

“I had suffered from migraines for years and finally found relief with acupuncture when I was in Greenville NC. When we moved to Wilmington my acupuncturist recommended Infinity Acupuncture so I called as soon as we got settled. By then the stress of the move had caused the migraines to return and I was struggling to get through each day. I went in to see Gretchen and the headache actually went away during the treatment which had never happened before! I continue to get acupuncture to keep the headaches at bay and to help me deal with the stress of being in a new city, a new home and a new job. I don’t know what I would do without it! Thanks Gretchen!”

“Being a hairdresser, wife and mother keeps me on my feet over 10 hours a day, so when my foot pain, low back pain, neck pain and sciatica kept getting worse, I knew I had to do something. The pain in my foot was terrible whenever I was in motion so I couldn’t walk for exercise, I couldn’t walk barefoot and I was extremely frustrated that I couldn’t exercise adequately to take care of myself.

Today, I am walking up to 1 1/2 miles a day, the sciatica pain has improved and the low back pain just comes and goes rather than being a constant pain in my back. As a side benefit I got through allergy season with very few medications this year!

I was a bit nervous about getting acupuncture but it’s not that bad. The needles feel like getting a little stick, but that doesn’t stay, any discomfort from the needles goes away.  It’s very relaxing and I feel almost as relaxed as I do getting a massage. For me, it’s a feeling of healthiness, like my body is ticking better.

I’d rather pay for natural treatments than a prescription covered by insurance. To me it’s worth the money to be treated and actually get well. I recommend it for anyone!”

“Six years ago I had major surgery. The surgery was considered successful because it fixed the problem. Unfortunately it also left me with frequent bouts of excruciating back pain. The pain would come suddenly and without warning and would last for a few hours or days. I always had a high tolerance for pain but my tolerance was no match for this. I found myself living life around my pain. I had to plan and prepare things well in advance to make sure I could complete a given task. One Thanksgiving my family came for Thanksgiving dinner. I worked for days preparing to make sure we would have a special dinner and I would be able to enjoy it with them. Thanksgiving day came and so did the pain. My children finished preparing the meal and I sat with a heating pad in my recliner.

I tried a number of things to get relief but none of them worked. I was determined not to use strong and perhaps addictive drugs. Fortunately a friend told me about the success she had had with Gretchen and accupunture. I was apprehensive but desparate so I scheduled an appointment. Her professionalism and calm demeanor put me at ease right away. I’ve now had four treatments and I’m delighted to say I’m atleast 90% better. I’ll definitely continue and strongly urge anyone with chronic pain to give her a call.

As an aside, I also have a painful arthritic finger and sore shoulder. Both are much improved. I’m a work in progress but I’m confident that I’ll be 100%. Had I known six years ago what I know today, I would have gone without food to pay for the treatments.”
