“Six years ago I had major surgery. The surgery was considered successful because it fixed the problem. Unfortunately it also left me with frequent bouts of excruciating back pain. The pain would come suddenly and without warning and would last for a few hours or days. I always had a high tolerance for pain but my tolerance was no match for this. I found myself living life around my pain. I had to plan and prepare things well in advance to make sure I could complete a given task. One Thanksgiving my family came for Thanksgiving dinner. I worked for days preparing to make sure we would have a special dinner and I would be able to enjoy it with them. Thanksgiving day came and so did the pain. My children finished preparing the meal and I sat with a heating pad in my recliner. I tried a number of things to get relief but none of them worked. I was determined not to use strong and perhaps addictive drugs. Fortunately a friend told me about the success she had had with Gretchen and accupunture. I was apprehensive but desparate so I scheduled an appointment. Her professionalism and calm demeanor put me at ease right away. I’ve now had four treatments and I’m delighted to say I’m atleast 90% better. I’ll definitely continue and strongly urge anyone with chronic pain to give her a call. As an aside, I also have a painful arthritic finger and sore shoulder. Both are much improved. I’m a work in progress but I’m confident that I’ll be 100%. Had I known six years ago what I know today, I would have gone without food to pay for the treatments.”
